Go to Take Lessons' get started page. Once page refreshes, you will see the green Get Started button.

A small window will show where you can select which subject you love to teach.

 

If you want to teach more than one subject, you don't need to worry as you can add more subjects you love to teach later on.

You can create a free account either by connecting your Facebook account or by providing your First and Last Name and email. It's up to you. Don't forget to read Take Lessons' Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. It's important that you agree to their terms to avoid violations later on.

  

Once you've created your Take Lessons account, you can already edit your profile and provide all the necessary details to get better chances of being chosen by students. A background check will be conducted by Take Lessons and upon completion, you will be signing an independent contractor agreement. And there you can start teaching!

To easily be chosen by students on Take Lessons, you have to make sure that you posted your best profile photo. First impression is everything, so make time to upload a good one. It is also highly important that you completed the Background Checked badge. This is, understandably, one weighty consideration of parents. What also helps is if you provide a detailed lesson description. These are all made available by Take Lessons to help their registered teachers get to the top of their search results.
